Join the AONB Partnership for a family-friendly arts activity to create a strike banner representing the lead miners of Allenheads who went on strike for four months in 1849 following many changes brought in by mine manager, Thomas Sopwith. We will work with artist Henry Iddon to create the banner and we’ll use images taken using traditional pinhole photography in a previous workshop.
Online registration advisable – 20 places available.
Refreshments will be provided. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
