Allendale Village Hall and Recreation Ground is a registered charity (number 1011360) run by volunteers.
The management committee is elected at the Annual General Meeting (open to residents of the area), and can also include co-opted members and members appointed by stakeholder groups. The members of the management committee are the trustees of the charity.
The management committee elects a chair and a treasurer. Some committee members take particular responsibilities.
Many other people offer their time as volunteers at the village hall, bar-tending, catering and stewarding for particular events.
